If you enjoy having a a drink every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all money, charge cards and checks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a profit following a drunken evening out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long roll at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. The pair simply don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola at home is a little drastic, but preventative measures for dramatic behavior is required. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to throw away your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the gratuitous beer your stomach can handle, but do not take credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your dead drunk brain throws away everything!
Let me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the web to wager in your best-liked casino either. I love to drink from the comfort of my apartment, however since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is definitely sufficient to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
