If you like to have a drink from time to time, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to spend on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You can experience a success following a drunken night out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to catch a long toss at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and bet. These activities just don’t go well together.
Leaving your moola out of the casino might be a bit drastic, but defensive actions for excessive behavior is necessary. If you gamble to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the gratis alcohol your stomach can handle, but do not pack credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your inebriated brain squanders every little thing!
Permit me to take this one step more. do not drink and then hop on the web to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my apartment, but considering that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.
How come? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it is definitely adequate to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
